How was the curriculum developed?
Exclusively Inclusive conducted a Needs Analysis Survey with Teachers and Parents to find out the needs of learners in the classroom and at home.
Findings:
•Teachers lack knowledge and resources to cope with learners with ADHD and Dyslexia.
•Parents also lack the same but are in need of additional support and guidance in assisting
children at home.
•The Department of Education currently has a curriculum developed for these learning
needs but have failed to continuously workshop teachers and parents on these disorders.
•Many learners with ADHD and DYSLEXIA are excluded from the classroom and labelled
according to their behaviour.
